Week Fifteen Tribal Council

Kimartoleema Tribe before Tribal Council (From now on I’m calling it the Kim Tribe)

Elliott was the winner of the elimination immunity challenge this week and he couldn’t be happier. He suddenly felt this peace come over him that he had never felt before in the entire game since October. There was always strategy to be done, but this week he was safe, and hopefully one of his rivals would be headed home. Kyle won immunity last week and he had the same feeling. But not this week as both him, and his strongest ally Scott could be on the chopping block. They both won immunity last week, so it was needless to say that they would be seen as threats by the rest of the tribe. German was feeling tired these last couple days. All this strategy was starting to give him a headache and he just wanted a break from it all. He talked briefly with some of his friends, but he sequestered himself from the tribe for most of the day to avoid any mind-numbing tactics. Steve wasn’t sure what to do. He had almost relied solely on German since they entered a tribe together around New Years, but today they barely talked. Steve thought today may be the day that he takes control of the tribe. Dirks and Tyler spent a great deal of the day discussing their gameplan. Neither of them had really been involved in any strategy at all in the entire game, but they knew that at some point very soon, if they didn’t involve themselves, they could be voted out. Silas for some reason didn’t really listen to what anyone else had to say. He knew who he wanted to vote for, and he was going to do it. Cowin and Jord went out fishing today in a small boat, with one end significantly deeper into the water than the other. They didn't like the stressful atmosphere back at camp.

Kim Tribal Council

1st Vote: Kyle
2nd Vote: Kyle
3rd Vote: German
4th Vote: Tyler
5th Vote: Kyle
6th Vote: Kyle
7th Vote: Tyler
8th Vote: Tyler
9th Vote: Tyler
At this point, with one vote on the way there are 4 votes for Kyle and 4 votes for Tyler. Here’s the last vote:
With the 10th and final vote, the 3rd person voted out of the Kim Tribe and the 31st out of Survivor Hamilton Two is…
Tyler Wells

Well I have to say that I am completely astounded by this result. I never would have guessed that anyone would have voted for Tyler. He was honestly my pick to win, and I didn’t let that be known. I guess you can only get so far in Survivor without putting some thought into it eh?

This weekend on Survivor Hamilton Two… down to the final nine, the contestants are once again split up into groups to vie for immunity. But this week is different, and losing the challenge may have severe consequences.

Week Fifteen

We shall start with this last week’s Tribal Council.

Kimartoleema before Tribal Council

In the days leading up to the first Tribal Council of the merge, everyone was obviously nervous. That is, everyone except Kyle and Scott. They both won immunity, and it couldn’t have happened at a better time, as now they felt that they had a chance to put their stamp on the rest of the game. They knew that they had to take this opportunity to eliminate a leader from one of the other two main alliances. That meant that the two best people to vote out would be Chris or German. But the fact that this was a unique Tribal Council, and Chris and German were both in the same pool of contestants, only one of them could get voted out. Chris had a particular dilemma because there was no one in his group of contestants that he wanted to vote out. All of the people were his friends, so he decided to be honest and tell Elliott that he would be voting for him. That didn’t sit very well with Elliott and German.

The other group of contestants was just as prickly, because there was no one who was clearly the best person to vote out. Steve was close with German and Elliott, Dirks was somebody that a lot of people were courting to get him in their alliances. That left Jord, who was not being seen as a serious threat at this point, and Mandy who Kyle had taken under his wing. Either way, one of those four people is going home tonight. With twelve people in a tribe all wanting their own ways, this was bound to be an exciting Tribal Council.

Athletic Challenge Tribal Council

1st Vote: Elliott
2nd Vote: Silas
3rd Vote: Chris
4th Vote: Elliott
5th Vote: Elliott
6th Vote: Chris
7th Vote: Chris
8th Vote: Chris
9th Vote: Elliott
10th Vote: Elliott
11th Vote: Chris
So with one more vote on the way, both Elliott and Chris have five votes against.
12th Vote: Chris
So Chris Pitman is the 1st person voted out of Kimartoleema and the 29th voted out of Survivor Hamilton Two.

Intellectual Challenge Tribal Council

1st Vote: Jord
2nd Vote: Jord
3rd Vote: Mandy
4th Vote: Mandy
5th Vote: Mandy
6th Vote: Mandy
7th Vote: Jord
8th Vote: Mandy
9th Vote: Jord
10th Vote: Mandy
11th Vote: Jord
12th Vote: Jord
So after all 12 votes have been cast, there is a tie between Jord Wilson and Mandy Maurice. I hate to do this, but because of lack of time in our Survivor Schedule, there will be no revote. I have no choice but to randomly choose one person to be eliminated.

So the 2nd person voted out of Kimartoleema and the 30th out of Survivor Hamilton Two is…
Mandy Maurice

So one week into the merge, there has already been a lot of controversy concerning this vote. Chris had not received one vote against in any of his previous Tribal Councils, but 6 was all he needed to be sent home. Mandy was a surprise to me to get this far. She was able to lay low, and even after she was almost eliminated in the 4th week, she made it very far. I will be sad to see them go.

Week Fifteen of Survivor Hamilton Two is right now.

Week Fifteen

Kimartoleema Tribe

Immediately after Chris and Mandy left the game, some people, mainly Elliott couldn’t keep the smile from their faces. Elliott knew that Chris was going to vote for him, so he switched gears and worked to get Chris voted out instead. But he had now solidified his alliance with German, as well as some sort of partnership with Kyle and Scott. Those two were not very happy that Mandy had been voted out. She was going to be one more vote on their side throughout the merge, but now they had to figure something else out. Tyler, Silas and Dirks were very unhappy that Chris got voted out. He was one of their alliance, as they all came into the merge from the same tribe. It was now very possible that they would all split up and join new alliances. Cowin in the mean time had no alliance. He was friends with Jord, but seeing as everyone tried to vote Jord out last week, he was beginning to think that maybe Jord wasn’t the best choice of alliance.

Immunity Challenge

This week’s immunity challenge will be a series of four events. The three worst people in the first challenge will be eliminated from the series. The three worst from the second event will be eliminated. Two more people will be eliminated after the third event. That will leave two people to compete for this week’s immunity.

First Event: Co-Operative Strategy
Each contestant will take turns paired with all the other contestants. They will work together to steal items attached to a rope that each pair pulls behind them. So while trying to steal other pair’s items, the teams must try and protect their ropes. The pairs will split what they steal, and then partner up with another contestant. I know this probably doesn’t make any sense, but just bare with me.
Speed: 0%
Strength: 0%
Prob-Solv: 0%
Strategy: 50%
Co-op: 50%

Eliminated: Cowin, Scott, Dirks
Remaining: Kyle, Silas, Tyler, Elliott, Steve, Jord, German

Second Event: Strategic Puzzles
Each contestant must fit their puzzle pieces in a hanging frame. Once a contestant finished their puzzle, they can begin shooting small rocks at the other contestants puzzles, which will knock pieces out, but not break them. The last three people still working on their puzzles will be eliminated.
Speed: 0%
Strength: 0%
Prob-Solv: 50%
Strategy: 50%
Co-Op: 0%

Kyle finishes his puzzle with ease, and begins shooting rocks to slow people down, specifically German. Silas finishes right after and begins doing the same. Steve then finishes, and right after him, Elliott does as well.

Eliminated: German, Jord, Tyler
Remaining: Kyle, Silas, Elliott, Steve

Third Event: Heavy Puzzle
Each contestant must retrieve and put together puzzle pieces. The problem is they are very heavy.
Speed: 0%
Strength: 50%
Prob-Solv: 50%
Strategy: 0%
Co-Op: 0%

Kyle, Elliott and Steve are neck and neck, while Silas is beginning to have trouble with the heavy pieces. Steve is the first to finish his puzzle, and right before Kyle finishes his, Elliott places his last piece.

Eliminated: Silas, Kyle
Remaining: Steve, Elliott

Fourth Event: Obstacle Course
An old fashioned obstacle course.
Speed: 50%
Strength: 50%
Prob-Solv: 0%
Strategy: 0%
Co-Op: 0%

In the obstacle course, Elliott takes an early lead due to his quickness, and Steve is never able to catch up. That means that after all four events, the winner of this week’s Immunity necklace is Elliott Delaunay!

This Week’s Tribal Council

So we are starting this week with voting only one person out. All ten of you must vote, but you CANNOT vote for Elliott. Anyone else is fair game. You must all vote by the normal time, Wednesday night at 11:59 as I will be posting the Tribal Council on Thursday. Good luck, and post or email any questions.

Week Fourteen

Kimartoleema Tribe

At the beginning of the day the four remaining members of each of the Kichagani, Margolo and Harteema tribes all gathered in the new Kimartoleema camp site. Many people had not met each other before so there were quite a few introductions. It was a tense situation because everyone wanted to show that they were nice and trustworthy. Any type of small mistake could lead to an early exit, so everyone was a little nervous. It was nice for some people to be back with their old tribemates from before the switch. Cowin was happy to see Chris and German. Dirks and Steve reunited as the only two from the original Margani Tribe. Silas got the meet up with Mandy and Jord. And the four remaining members of the original Kichanga, Kyle, Scott, Tyler and Elliott got to share some time together.

It was a crowded camp, but in everyone’s minds, they knew that it would slowly be getting less crowded. Not much strategy happened in the first day, for two reasons. The first was that no one wanted to be seen as too much of a strategic threat. They were meeting a whole bunch of new people, and they didn’t want to turn anybody off from the start. The second reason that not much strategizing occurred was that many people came from the three tribes with new alliances that would be hard to break.

Mandy had essentially relied on Scott and Kyle to keep her around, so it seemed unlikely that she would turn on them from the start. German, Elliott and Steve had a good thing going in Margolo, and by keeping Jord around, they may have secured a fourth member in their alliance. But it was the four from Harteema: Silas, Dirks, Tyler and Chris who were the closest. Cowin had been kept around by Kyle and Scott, and he knew that it may be with them that he was the safest.

Immunity Challenge

As you probably already know, the challenges from this point on are going to be different than the team challenges before. The remaining contestants will now be fighting for individual immunity. The person who wins the immunity challenge will be the only person immune, which means that one of the losers of the challenge will be voted out at Tribal Council.

The first challenge for the newly merged tribe, however, will be slightly different. This week there are two different challenges. Each contestant will have to choose which challenge to compete in. That means that there will be two winners of Immunity this week. One challenge will be mostly Athletic, while the other will be mostly Intellectual. At this point each person has picked which challenge they want to compete in, and we will begin with the athletic challenge.

The Athletic Challenge

The attributes are as follows:

Speed: 40%
Strength: 40%
Prob-Solv: 20%
Strategy: 0%
Co-op: 0%

The contestants for the Athletic challenge are: Scott, Cowin, German, Elliott, Silas, Chris and Tyler. The challenge is essentially an obstacle course involving running, climbing and a maze. All contestants will enter the course at the same time. The first person to successfully traverse the maze will win Immunity.

So all seven contestants are at the starting line, and the challenge begins!

Silas and Scott take an early lead through the mostly speed section, jumping over fences, crawling under logs, and climbing ropes. German, Tyler and Elliott are still right behind however. Chris and Cowin begin to fall a little behind. As they progress through the mostly strength phase, Silas has a hard time moving the heavy objects out of the way, and guys like Cowin and German begin to close the gap on Scott.

As they begin to enter the maze, German, Cowin and Scott are all together trying to outsmart one another. Tyler and Silas are right behind them, with Elliott right there as well. Chris is the last to enter the maze, but gets lucky and makes some time on the other guys.

As German and Scott turn a corner, they see the opening and the finish line, and at the same time they bolt towards the exit. They push and shove, but in the end it is Scott who pulls away from German. And that means that winner of the first immunity challenge is Scott Heidman!

The Intellectual Challenge

The attribute weightings are as follows:

Speed: 20%
Strength: 0%
Prob-Solv: 40%
Strategy: 40%
Co-op: 0%

The contestants for the Intellectual Challenge are: Jord, Steve, Kyle, Mandy and Dirks. This challenge is a puzzle challenge. Each player must retrieve their puzzle pieces which are hidden in the sand. There are ten pieces to each of the five puzzles. Each contestant’s puzzle is exactly the same, so they are looking for the same pieces, though there are five of each of the ten pieces in the sand. The first contestant to put together the puzzle wins immunity.

So the challenge begins and all five contestants rush to gather their pieces. Jord seems to be finding his pieces the quickest, but doesn’t take the time to bury pieces he already has again. Kyle and Steve upon finding a piece they already have, bury it deeper in the sand so it will be harder for someone else to find. Jord is the first to find his pieces, followed closely by Dirks and Kyle. Steve is right behind them, while Mandy was having a hard time finding all her pieces.

At the stage where they were putting their complicated puzzles together, it was anybody’s game. Dirks, Steve, Jord and Kyle were all neck and neck. Once Mandy found all her pieces, she was motoring through the puzzle as well. But all of a sudden one person finished they puzzle. So the second winner of Immunity this week is Kyle Pitman!

Next Weekend’s Tribal Council

This will be a unique Tribal Council. Since two people (Kyle and Scott) have Immunity, there will also be two people voted out next weekend. These are the rules for the vote. You must all vote by Saturday the 24th. You will each vote for TWO people. One person must be a loser from the Athletic challenge, and one person must be from the intellectual challenge.

So you must all vote for ONE OF:
Cowin
Tyler
Silas
Chris
Elliot
German

And you must all vote for ONE OF:
Steve
Mandy
Jord
Dirks

So I will be expecting 24 votes total in my email inbox by this upcoming Saturday.

Good Luck Guys.

Week Thirteen Tribal Council

Kichagani before Tribal Council

Mandy decided this week that her only chance to make it far in this game was to stay on Kyle’s side. And since Scott was already with Kyle, all the pressure was on Cowin and Micah to save themselves. Cowin’s goal was to do his best to make Kyle and Scott trust him. He didn’t want to make any serious promises, because once Cowin makes a promise he doesn’t go back on it. So he had to think of some other way, and fast. Micah on the other hand, had to convince Kyle that he was useful, or find some way to create his own fortunes. In his mind there was a chance that he could potentially sway Cowin and Mandy and get rid of Kyle. But if he tried that, he would have to be careful… very careful.

Kichagani Tribal Council

1st Vote: Micah
2nd Vote: Cowin
3rd Vote: Micah
4th Vote: Micah
5th Vote: Micah

So after the vote the 4th person voted out of Kichagani and the 27th out of SH2 is…
Micah George

Harteema before Tribal Council

The only plotline these last couple days in Harteema was if and how Trotman could convince one of Chris, Tyler, Dirks or Silas not to vote for him. He talked to Silas the most since they came from Breema together, and it seemed they were getting somewhere. With the information he got from Silas, Trotman decided to talk to Dirks. As far as Trotman was concerned, he thought that these conversations went very well.

Harteema Tribal Council

1st Vote: Trotman
2nd Vote: Trotman
3rd Vote: Tyler
4th Vote: Trotman
5th Vote: Trotman

And with four votes against the 4th person voted out of Harteema and the 28th out of SH2 is…
Last year’s champ Bryant Trotman

Thus concludes the second third of Survivor Hamilton Two. 28 people have now been voted out of SH2, which means we are down to the final 12. As of this moment all the remaining contestants will be joining up into one final merged tribe. Your Final Merged Tribe is…

Andrew Cowin
Elliott Delaunay
Nathan Dirks
Steve Edwards
Peter German
Scott Heidman
Amanda Maurice
Silas Pedro Esq.
Chris Pitman
Kyle Pitman
Tyler Wells
Jordan Wilson

But before we can begin the final chapter of SH2 I need you twelve to do something for me. Up until this point, I have been the one to choose your challenge rankings. Here is your chance to take the game into your own hands. I am going to re-rank all of you based on oldies like:
Speed, Strength, Problem-Solving, Strategizing and a newbie: Co-operation.

I will rank you all, and send out an email, and if you guys would like me to change one or more of your rankings please let me know and I will change it promptly. You should be receiving an email from me soon.

This weekend on Survivor Hamilton Two… the new tribe is unveiled with new pictures for each contestant, and now everyone will be able to see everyone else’s exact rankings from here on out.

Lucky (for some) Week Thirteen

Kichagani Tribe

After winning immunity last week Kichagani was enjoying their nice little break from Tribal Council. Cowin was especially enjoying the break because he felt that if they lost the challenge he wouldn’t still be here. Through the grapevine, Mandy discovered today that both Lauren and Beckie were voted out, and that she was the last girl left in SH2. She was both happy to have that honour, considering she would have been eliminated in Week Three if Gerry had voted, and sad that many of her friends were gone from the game. Kyle was feeling really good about his game so far. After all the strategy that has happened so far in the game, he finally felt comfortable with his position. A lot of that comfort stemmed from his partner. Scott had also done his fair share of strategy in the game. It’s not like Kyle did everything himself, Scott had been a huge part of it all. Micah was another person who could have been voted out early, but is still in. He was glad to come to a tribe ruled by someone he knew in Kyle, but also knew that at some point he would have to make this game his own. He had not had to be too strategic himself to this point, but his time was coming, and Micah wanted to go deeper into the game. Kyle would have to listen to everyone’s promises, and choose who he trusted to stay true to him later in the game.

Margolo Tribe

Last week they went from 5 to 4, and this week they could go from 4 to 3. That would be a bad thing. It would be specifically terrible for Jord if they lost this week. German, Elliott and Steve were in a three person alliance, that Jord was not technically a part of, so he would be next to go. Basically, the three-way alliance was more focused on what they could manage after the merge into one tribe (whenever that happens) because even if they did lose, Jord would be next to go, and the odds were very good that the three of them were making it to the final tribe.

The Harteema Gang

This tribe has lost the last two immunity challenges, after being very successful in the first three. Trotman in particular was getting very concerned. He wasn’t sure exactly how strong the alliance of Dirks, Silas, Chris and Tyler was, but the last three people to get voted out were each of their partners, so if the trend continued, either Silas or Trotman would be voted out if they lost. That was why he needed to try and convince the other guys that he was more trustworthy and one or more of them. Also, he would never forget that he won SH1 over Dirks in the final, and it was possible that Dirks would want to take Trotman to the final to exact his revenge. But the tribe was feeling pretty good about its 5 strong men who could do “anything.”

Immunity Challenge

The challenge this week is both a swimming and a puzzle challenge. Starting on the beach, each tribe will send out one person at a time to swim out into the water, and dive down and retrieve a puzzle piece in a weighted bag at ocean floor. Swimmers will have goggles, so they can get a good look. Once all 8 pieces are brought back, the team can start putting the puzzle together. One piece of information that is important is that the swimmer instead of swimming directly back to the beach with their piece can grab another tribe’s bag and move it farther away, making it more difficult to find. That is where strategy will come in. You will lose time, but the other tribes could lose more time. Each contestant can only have one bag in their hands at a time.

The attribute weightings are as follows:

Speed: 20%
Strength: 0%
Problem-Solving: 40%
Strategizing: 20%
Teamwork: 20%

One person has to sit out of both Kichagani and Harteema. They choose to sit out Mandy and Chris respectively. So, once everyone is in place, The Challenge Begins!!!

Scott, German and Dirks were the first three people in the water with Dirks bringing back his piece right away, and both German and Scott spending a little time moving some other bags around. And that was the way it went for a time. Kichagani and Margolo spent loads of time hiding and moving bags, while Harteema attempted to find and just bring their bags back. Ultimately, Harteema was the first to bring back all eight of their bags, but they only had a slight lead over Margolo, and an even slighter lead over Kichagani.

So with all tribes putting their puzzles together, Harteema began to slow down a bit, having some troubles. And while Kichagani was keeping their pace, Margolo was really speeding through it. As they were all placing their final pieces, both Kichagani and Harteema placed their pieces at the exact same time. But unfortunately for them, Margolo placed it only a second before, and Margolo Wins Immunity! Which means that this week Kichagani and Harteema are going to Tribal Council.

Keys to Victory (defeat):

Margolo Tribe: All four members were perfect.

Kichagani Tribe: Sitting out Mandy was probably a good idea, seeing as she may not have been great at all the deep swimming, but Micah struggled in this challenge, where Cowin, Scott and Kyle were very good.

Harteema Gang: Nathan and Silas were quite good in this challenge. Chris was probably a good idea to sit out cause he hates fish, but Trotman and Tyler were a bit slow in this challenge altogether. Everyone could have done better though, except for maybe Dirks.

So here are the people that must vote by 11:59pm on Wednesday night:

Kichagani Tribe:
Kyle
Cowin
Mandy
Micah
Scott

Harteema Gang:
Silas
Trotman
Tyler
Chris
Dirks
