Day Twenty-Five - SEASON FINALE
Suratoni Tribe
Well it seems after twenty-four days of relentless competition, we are down to the final day.
Nathan Dirks started Survivor on the Mablevi Tribe which was split in the middle with Tyndale and Pickering guys. He found his first alliance was with Wells, but Mablevi wasn’t split for long because they were able to consistently agree on voting out the weakest link rather than playing favourites. Dirks came into the merge after Wells was eliminated and was able to find friendship apart from Mablevi, (Trotman and Wilson) with Silas, Ryan and Jones. The four of them were the center of the Tyndale alliance, but things didn’t work out the way they had planned when Ryan trusted Damien. After Ryan and Jones were eliminated Dirks and Silas really played a smart game allowing Cowin to focus on Damien rather than them… the real threats. Unfortunately, Dirks and Silas could not stay together past the final four, when Dirks won immunity and took what could have been his only chance to eliminate Silas. Dirks won the last three immunity challenges and put himself in the final. He was a strong competitor and his physicality brought him to the Finale.
Bryant Trotman also began on Mablevi, but on the Pickering Alliance. Although Mablevi eventually went down to three members, Trotman and Wilson were able to protect themselves to the merge. Wilson winning the tie-break over Wells was key because Wilson was Trotman’s strongest ally in the end. While Trotman was a physical threat too, he really excelled at the mental part of the game. He actually switched sides for a time with Silas and Dirks to eliminate Cameron when he felt threatened by the main three in the Pickering alliance (Cowin, Cameron and Wilson.) Voting out Cameron was key because it made Cowin desperate to accept Trotman back on to the Pickering side once Damien was eliminated. One day 22 when Dirks and Silas were both immune, things got very dicy when Cowin and Trotman were both voted against in Tribal Council. Trotman’s vote turned out to be key when the vote turned out to be 3-2 in favour of Cowin. He was brought into the final 3 when Dirks voted against Silas, and was brought into the finals when he and Dirks made a deal in the final immunity challenge.
These two have displayed skill in all aspects of this game but alas there can be only one winner.
Tribal Council
Let me first say that this was an unbelievably close vote. I was very successful in receiving a total of 25 votes. Before I announce the winner, I wanted to tell you that the margin was seriously 13 votes to 12 votes. It was that close. Now the results…
With Thirteen votes the Winner of the First Survivor Hamilton is…
BRYANT TROTMAN!!!!!!!!
Congratulations Trotman and being the best of the best.
Congrats to Dirks as well for a game well played.
I wanted to take this time to let you guys in on a little secret. In the fall I am undertaking an even greater task than Survivor in a Mike Hamilton Original Reality Show. It is loosely based on the old-school game of Cops and Robbers. I will give a little credit to Chris Harris for saying, "Hey, someone should do a reality show on Cops and Robbers." I have spent a lot of time already planning ways that this game can incorporate action, backstabbing, guns and stuff, and I feel I can fit all those things in. I am really hoping it comes together and that it will be interesting for all those involved and/or viewing. The address will be robbersandcops.blogspot.com
That is all I wanted to tell you guys other than that if you want to be a part of Mike Hamilton's Cops and Robbers send me an e-mail (almost_second@hotmail.com) letting me know if you would rather be a Cop or a Robber. I am looking for 24 individuals, male or female, but I may take more.
My wheels are turning. Thanks guys so much for all the fun.
Mike Hamilton.
