Day Eighteen

Suratoni Tribe
The day started with some tree mail that told the tribe “If you thought Survivor was unpredictable so far, just wait…” This message really excited the final 8 castaways. They knew that it was really getting down to the wire, and that things had been so crazy so far. They didn’t have any idea what else could happen, but they knew Mike Hamilton was running the game, and that he is a genius.
After the exit of Clarke, Silas and Dirks were really getting desperate. They knew that the Pickering guys were pretty tight, and that if Pitman stayed with Cameron, it was 6-2 in Pickering’s favour. They tried again to talk with Trotman, but this time Trotman told them he was not interested because there would be too few of them. They agreed, but said that with Cowin gone, the bash brothers are dead, and they would be able to sway Pitman. Trotman said get Pitman first, and he’ll think about it.
Unfortunately, Pitman was away for most of the day fishing with Cameron, Wylie and Wilson, which didn’t seem like a good thing for Silas’ plan.
Damien spent most of the day chilling by himself. He knew that his time would be coming, and that it probably should have come already, but he was still here. He was certainly glad for that, but he needed to start thinking about if he could make an alliance with anyone. His best option would be Trotman, and he saw Trotman talking with Silas and Dirks, so Damien began to consider having a chat with Silas.

Immunity Challenge.
So today immunity is going to work a little differently. There will be two tournaments: one puzzle tournament, and one balance fighting tournament. The winner of the puzzle tournament will be immune, and also get to pick by himself who is going home tonight. The winner of the fighting tournament will also be immune, and will get to choose one past competitor from any point in the game to come back as a castaway. Obviously the stakes are very high this evening. The way the tournaments will work is one person will be chosen randomly, they will get to pick their opponent. It is an elimination style tournament.

First, the Puzzle Tournament
1st Round: Dirks challenges Damien and wins, Pitman challenges Trotman and wins, Silas challenges Cameron and wins, Wylie beats Wilson.
2nd Round: Silas challenges Pitman and wins, Wylie beats Dirks.
Final: Silas beats Wylie.

Balance Fighting Tournament
1st Round: Dirks challenges Wilson and wins, Cameron challenges Damien and wins, Pitman challenges Wylie and wins, Trotman beats Silas.
2nd Round: Dirks challenges Trotman and wins, Cameron beats Pitman.
Final: Cameron beats Dirks.

So Silas will be voting someone off, Cameron will be bringing someone back.

Suratoni before Tribal Council
So everyone began sucking up to Silas. He was the only one that needed to be sucked up to, because he held all their fates in his hand. The only person he couldn’t vote off was Cameron, anyone else would be fair game. Sucking up didn’t matter much, because Silas already knew exactly to vote off. It wasn’t because he was afraid of this person, or because he thought this person was the biggest threat. He was trying to be smart with his choice. He felt he knew who Cameron would be bringing back, so he wanted to hold back the size of Cameron’s alliance starting tomorrow. Cameron knew who he was bringing back to the game.

Tribal Council
So we will start with Cameron. Who would Cameron like to bring back to the game? This person will arrive at the camp tomorrow morning. Cameron quickly told everyone that he decided to bring Cowin back into the game.

Many people felt they already knew this was coming, but it was still shocking to think that Cowin would be back in the morning. Damien was shaking in his boots.

It was now Silas’ turn to write down the name of the person that would be going home. So after no deliberation at all, the seventeenth person voted out of Survivor Hamilton is… Dan Wylie
