Week Seven Tribal Council

Hartolo before Tribal Council

So it was down to the toughest decision yet for Hartolo. Their alliance had consisted of seven people, and now they were the only seven left. They had to vote out one of their own, and it would be a sad day no matter what. The choice would obviously have to be the weakest link as decided by the tribe as a whole. Pitman didn’t want it to be him who had to go home, so he offered up the choice to Cait and Cowin of either Tyla or Millar. Pitman, Tyla and Millar were the three that did the poorest in the last challenge, so it should only be one of the three of them. German and Graham, still kind of laying low, decided to go along with what the tribe decided. So soon, it was commonly decided that it should probably be Millar who gets voted out. But instead of blindsiding him, the tribe talked with him about it, and he was alright with it. He would get to go home, eat some nice food and relax in a nice bed, and that sounded just fine.

Hartolo Tribal Council

I am not supposed to do this, but because I like Beta (Millar) so much I will go along with it. So Geoff Millar had decided to honourably resign from Survivor Hamilton Two. So Millar is the 4th person eliminated from Hartolo and the 15th from Survivor Hamilton Two.

Breema before Tribal Council

No matter how hard people tried, no definitive alliances have been made in Breema to this point. So again, the vote for Breema would be a tough one. At this point in the game, there were actually no weak links in Breema. Each person brought their own unique talents to the game, and the tribe had become the best all-around tribe. So who to vote for? Leading up to this vote, I had some idea, but after receiving some votes, I am surprised at the way they are going, and I really can’t offer up any explanation. Nathalie and Jord seem to have a little alliance going, since they have usually voted very close in time with one another, and it has always been for the same person. And it seems like the rest of the tribe either follows suit, or just votes whatever they feel. I suppose it is for that reason that Micah keeps receiving one or two votes for each week. It is from a random person that never votes with the alliance. It is interesting that Breema has not made an alliance like the other three tribes, but it is still the best overall tribe. They have voted out the weak links, and now they only have strong ones left. So who will be next?

Breema Tribal Council

1st Vote: Barry
2nd Vote: Barry
3rd Vote: Mandy
4th Vote: Mandy
5th Vote: Nathalie
6th Vote: Barry
7th Vote: Barry

So with four votes against, the 4th person voted out of Breema, and the 16th person eliminated from Survivor Hamilton Two is… Mike Barry

Thus ends the first third of Survivor Hamilton Two. The number of remaining contestants has been depleted from 40 all the way to 24. So we have said goodbye to Matt Binnington, Lindsay Eby, Andrew Hackett, Damien Lorfice, Cameron Hodge, Mike Jones, James Lee, Siobhan Wilson, Chris Clements, Laura Graham, Geoff Millar, Michelle Whiting Hodgson, Mike Barry, Amanda Fournie, Gerry Kroezen and Pat Sutherland. From here on in, we enter the second portion of Survivor Hamilton Two.

Congratulations to all those people who have made it this far, and I want you to know that I appreciate all the work you each have put in to be strategic, make alliances, and form relationships. In this second part of the game, there will be a not so slight change to format. But before I get into that, there is something I need you all to do.

I need each of you to pick one person from YOUR TRIBE to partner with. This person will directly influence your fortunes for the rest of the game, as they will be your main ally throughout the second part of the game. When choosing your partner there are three things you need to take into account.

1. This person should be a good competitor (strong in the challenges)
2. This person should be good at strategy (help you survive)
3. This person should be trustworthy (will not stab you in the back)

The partners will be formed as follows. I will give you an example from Hartolo.

Pitman picks Cait
Cait picks Pitman
Cowin picks Pitman
Tyla picks Cowin
German picks Pitman
Graham Picks Cait

Pitman and Cait become partners because they each picked eachother. Cowin picked Pitman who was already picked, but because Tyla picked Cowin, Tyla and Cowin become Partners. German and Graham picked people who already had partners, so by elimination, Graham and German are partners.

I will not say how this affects the rest of the game, but that is how the partners will be determined. You each have exactly a week to pick your partners. There will not be a post this weekend, instead I will post who picked who next Thursday. So each of you should e-mail me who you want to partner with by next Thursday. I suggest you talk to your potential partners to make sure you pick eachother. Once you email me with your pick, I WILL NOT accept a change in picks. You have one chance to pick. If you don’t send me an email, then you will end up with somebody who you may not want to be with.

I hope this all makes sense. If it doesn’t, please post your question in the site in the comments section, and I will address it. So congratulations again for making it this far.

This second portion is going to even things out. The people whose time was running out could just be saved, and the people who were running their tribes could find themselves voted out next. No one will be safe. The game is about to get much more difficult.

Good Luck

I'll up the ante for Peter German as my ally; the first round alliance pick at the merge, my saved soul and a christmas card.

Or I'd take 3 buttons to ally with James.. I'd get him to trust me, bring him close, then when he least suspect it STAB him in the back.

he may be fading the glory of his career right now, but come one, hasn't he earned enough respect to play as long as he wants?

its only the team's and the city's money that he uses when he plays just cause he wants to.

its not like the team wants to win games or anything.

ya he should get to play as long as he wants. and the team and the city and all the fans should just wait patiently for the time when they can have a winning team.

patience... right steve?

Here's some info for all you wanna-be football analysts:

Brett Favre two years ago: 17 Interceptions, 4188 Yds Passing

Brett Favre this year: 12 Interceptions, on pace for 3865 yards passing.

Two years ago Brett Favre had a good team and was throwing to Donald Driver, Javon Walker, and an in his prime Bubba Franks.

This year, Brett Favre is throwing to.... Donald Driver... and who the hell else? Same as last year. They have the youngest team in the NFL, and you want to blame Brett Favre?

Put Brett Favre on the Atlanta Falcons and the Falcons lead their division. You could put Brett Favre on many different teams in the NFL and they would be a hell of a lot better. Brett Favre is not the reason the Green Bay Packers are 5-8... Name me 6 players on the Packers not named Ahman Green, Brett Favre, Donald Driver, and AJ Hawk... Without looking on the internet.

And Jamesy, maybe you should worry more about your boy Ben Roethlesberger, who has a lower QB rating than Brett Favre, 8 more interceptions, 2 less touchdowns, and 250 less passing yards than Mr. Favre. On top of that Big Ben gets to throw to a Pro Bowl Receiver... Favre throws to Greg Jennings (there's a hint on the name of another packers player.)

To quote Coach Carter, "I know you boys like stats, so there's some stats for yo ass."

Lastly, to the people who say Favre needs to retire so the Packers can have a winning team... The next QB of the Packers is AARON EFFING RODGERS. Good call, idiots.

Enough of this Farve talk, lets live in the present shall we? Go bears go....long live Lovie and pray that Mr. Rex will not throw more then two interceptions a game come playoffs....we can count on Mr. Manning to do enough choking for us to be content with come playoff time...sorry Chris but you can't deny that no matter how much your in love with Indy....

Cheers All
