Week Sixteen
Kim Tribe
Tyler and a few others had been totally surprised that five people from the tribe voted against him. But that was then, and this is now. Kyle received four votes against, and this week he wouldn’t be able to deal with that again. If he didn’t step up huge and either win immunity, or a bunch of new friends, this could be his week to say goodbye. German was still avoiding strategy, hoping that it would take away both his stress, and others’ attention on him. This was putting his main allies, Elliott and Steve in a bit of a pickle. They needed to do some talking with German, but he wasn’t available. Scott didn’t know exactly what to think about his current situation. His main ally Kyle had a lot of attention on him, but no one seemed to be worried about Scott right now. He didn’t mind though, it was just that he wasn’t sure where to look for his best options. Jord knew that he had some sort of loose alliance with the guys from his last tribe, German, Elliott and Steve, but he wasn’t sure where they stood today. Cowin was his friend, but they didn’t really have a strong alliance either. Cowin still wanted to be friends with everyone. He wanted to play all sides, but the problem was that each week someone had to go home. He knew that he would be a valuable commodity to any alliance.
Immunity Challenge
This week’s challenge is a team challenge. The nine remaining contestants will be randomly split into 3 teams of 3. When the game starts, all 3 members of each team will have to run to a giant sand pit, where each team has 6 puzzle pieces buried deep in the sand. When a piece is found, all 3 team-mates must keep a hand on it, and return the piece to the puzzle frame a hundred metres away. They must do this 6 times until all the pieces are collected. The first two tribes to collect all their pieces, bring them back to the frame, and complete their puzzles will win immunity… all 6 people. Out of team of three that loses this challenge, one of them will be going home.
The attribute weightings are as follows:
Speed: 30%
Strength: 0%
Prob-Solv: 30%
Strategy: 0%
Co-Op: 40%
And here are the three randomly determined teams:
Team One: Scott, Dirks and German
Team Two: Kyle, Silas and Jord
Team Three: Steve, Elliott and Cowin
As the challenge begins, the team of Scott, Dirks and German are at the sand pit well before the other two tribes. Before the other two teams even get there, Team One already has their first piece and is running back to the frame. Teams Two and Three find their first pieces at around the same time, and begin to run towards their frames just as Team One returns to find their second piece.
About 15 minutes into the game Team One has all their pieces, and begins to put together their puzzle. Teams Two and Three each still have to retrieve two pieces. As Team Three is running back with their 5th piece, Cowin’s hand slips off, and they have to go back to the pit with their piece and try again. Team Two gets all their pieces back to the frame just as Team One finishes their puzzle. TEAM ONE IS IMMUNE. Team Two is about halfway through their puzzle, as Team Three finally gets their pieces back. But it is too little too late as Team Two finishes their puzzle. TEAM TWO IS IMMUNE. This means that only Cowin, Steve and Elliott are NOT immune.
This Week’s Vote:
This vote will be another unique one. Only three people can potentially be voted for. So you can ONLY VOTE FOR:
Cowin
Steve
Elliott
Also, those three will NOT get a vote. So the other six will decide the fate of the three losers. These are the people who must vote by Wednesday night at 11:59pm:
Silas
Kyle
Scott
German
Jord
Dirks
Good luck losers.
